BWP is representing a reputable property developer with a proven track record in Saudi Arabia.
The Director of Project Risk will be responsible for implementing the Project Risk Management framework within the client’s Jeddah Office. Especially this means developing and being the lead focal point for all project risk processes, practices, technologies and related activities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform regular project schedule/ cost quantitative risk analysis for all development projects within the wider company program.
- Develop and maintain project risk registers and work with relevant teams to implement appropriate and timely mitigation strategies.
- Develop close and integrated risk management working practices with Development, Project Execution, Planning and Project Controls teams.
- Develop appropriate project risk management reporting mechanisms which include creating and presenting reports to company Senior Management, Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
- Own project risk management software and systems, and integrate their use within overall project management methodology.
- Integrate project risk management within the wider Enterprise Risk Management framework.
- Advise Senior Management of project risk exposures.
Profile requirements
- 8 – 10 years of experience within the field of project risk management, within a relevant industry i.e., development preferred, however large infrastructure/ capital projects also acceptable.
- Experience gained from either in-house risk management role or large consulting firm (either specialist risk management, developer, project management or advisory firm).
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant field i.e., risk management, engineering, business management, etc.
- Professional certifications from a recognised risk management body i.e., Institute of Risk Management (IRM), Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Preference from Big 4 or multinational advisory/consulting firm.
