BWP are representing a leading developer of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) infrastructure projects, and are seeking an experienced EHSE Manager to lead our EHSE (Environment, Health, Safety and Environment) for an upcoming healthcare project in Saudi Arabia.
Key responsibilities
- Developing and implementing our EHSE policies and procedures, ensuring that all construction activities comply with relevant regulations and standards,
- Promoting a culture of safety on the construction site among workers and other stakeholders (contractors, engineers, architects).
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the construction site, ensuring that all EHSE risks are identified and addressed, and that all EHSE hazards are eliminated or minimized.
- Develop and deliver EHSE training programs for our construction workers, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely and efficiently on the construction site.
- Prepare and regularly update all EHSE documentation including incident reports, inspection reports, and training records.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders such as government partners and regulatory authorities to ensure that all EHSE requirements are met and communicate updated
- Manage the EHSE budget for the construction project, including forecasting and controlling costs.
Profile requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in EHSE, environmental science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in EHSE management, ideally in the construction industry, with a proven track record of developing and implementing EHSE programs for large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of EHSE regulations and standards, including those applicable to the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including our government partners, regulatory authorities, and construction workers.
- Experience in developing and delivering EHSE training programs.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve EHSE program objectives, and to maintain a positive working environment on the construction site.
- Proficiency in EHSE management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex EHSE-related problems.
