The Role
This is a strategic role where you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and diversification of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices to enhance the company’s services and offerings.
  • Leading the assessment of new technologies, and conducting technology reviews to provide business assurance.
  • Developing technical and engineering capability through the establishment of best practice management systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Providing expertise in asset integrity, including developing approaches to assess asset life and lifecycle management strategies.
  • Efficiently allocating resources within the engineering team to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with broader organizational goals.
  • Ensuring consistent implementation and maintenance of technical standards across all business functions.
  • Cultivating external relationships with industry bodies, academia, and technical standards organizations to enhance and promote Renewables activity.


  • Experience in managing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Extensive experience in renewable power projects across all lifecycle phases.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate technical findings into commercial implications.
  • Problem-solving skills with the creativity to identify and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across diverse countries and cultures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of design or engineering experience in renewable energy is preferred.
  • Sound understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to renewable projects.
