Our client are an international Architecture company whose services include lead consultant, construction supervision, executive architect and project management. They are looking for a Head of Interior Design to join their team in their Dubai office.

Reporting directly into the Managing Partner you will be responsible for:

  • Direct, mentor and supervise the team while challenging and introducing new and innovative methods of execution
  • Review agreed proposals to understand the scope, deliverables and program limitations
  • Provide an appraisal of the project requirements, detailed enough to offer a full understanding of the project and to ascertain the extent of resource required
  • Effectively communication and co-ordinate resource allocations of the department
  • Review the standard of graphic and presentation material, draughting, letter and report writing
  • Proactively look to improve the company’s corporate image by implementing new ideas and enhance design product
  • Produce presentations that are graphically impressive
  • Convey design concepts t internal and external audiences
  • Manage and develop the content of the website

Core Competencies

  • Previous experience working with senior management running a portfolio of projects
  • Ability to improve overall performance of a practice
  • Actively promote the company within the industry and develop strategies to attract more business
  • Reviewing management and performance of staff
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Able to provide feedback from past projects and lessons learned

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture
  • Registered with a Board of Architects or approved Architectural design organisation
  • Minimum 10 years’ working experience in an Architectural practice
  • Strong proficiency in software including packages such as, Sketch Up, Revit, AutoCAD and supporting rendering or image enhancement packages
  • Fluent in English
