Sales Leader

Our client are a leading manufacturing company in the region within the HVAC industry and due to expansion they are looking for a Sales Leader for their office in Iraq.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate existing and new markets. Develop and implement marketing plans as needed
  • Develop and implement new service offerings related to cooling towers following the market environment, demand and technology evolution
  • Develops sales engineers in assigned territories to have significant market penetration
  • Manages business performance by monitoring service personnel effectiveness and efficiency in relation to customer service and operating plan goals
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all prospect projects, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
  • Conducts review meetings with all Sales Engineers and Service leaders of respective region to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, to provide insight for the improvement on the sales and activity performance of Sales Engineers
  • Monitor measure and modify process and process measurements to effectively and efficiently meet customer needs, quality standards and business objectives
  • Responsible for achieving mission objectives regarding sales, profit and backlog analysis
  • Reviews project measurements and monitors projects through completion
  • Responsible for administering safety and environmental program in the service area
  • Drive the business to achieve gain local market share

Core Competencies

  • Familiar with the operation of HVAC systems
  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ related experience and / or training
  • Fluent in English
  • Currently residing in Iraq would be advantageous
