Our client is an American headquartered multinational engineering consultancy with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.
They are currently looking for System Assurance Engineers with 15+ years of experience
As a System Assurance (RAMS) Engineer the client would want you to help achieve their commitment to their projects. To fulfil this obligation you need to have a Bachelor of Science / Engineering Degree from a recognized university. They need you to demonstrate at least 15 years’ work experience and experience with a Bachelor of Science / Engineering Degree from a recognized university. You will have experience working in System Assurance in major rail transportation projects, ideally urban transportation guided systems such as tram and metro.
General Position Description System Assurance Engineer
The System Assurance Engineer reports directly to the RAMS Manager. He is in charge of implementing the system assurance (RAMS) approach and verifying that the RAMS targets set forth in the Contract have been achieved in the design, implementation and transition to operation.
He has an advisory and acceptance role on System Assurance issues related to the Railway Systems, including all subsystems like Rolling Stock, Train Control System, etc., and provides guidance throughout the entire safety certification process.
He must have in-depth understanding of the related and prevailing rail application standards such as EN50126, EN50128 and EN50129; as well as other related and emerging rail safety standards.
